The relevance of Yoga:

 

It is not important whether you are currently practicing Yoga or intending to do so, but it is crucial to acquire a victory over the contemplation of Yoga. The perseverance of Yoga practice indicates that the biggest barrier has been crossed.

 If, Yoga is undertaken for the improvement of health and features it is alright, one will definitely benefit from the same. However, in addition one should be constantly aware that there will be a change in mind, attitude, and behavior. One will achieve peace of mind as well as the capacity of feeling will be expanded. Therefore, the practice of   Yoga will affect the body mind and spirit equally and simultaneously.

Many aspirants have a troubled marital relation in addition to that with colleagues and friends. Practice of Yoga will certainly help improve these relationships to be more feasible. Good relations develop by profound understanding according to the state of self-awareness. The aim of Yoga is to enable one understand himself as well as others.

Perhaps one has heard that Yoga can treat Sexual impurities and disorders. It is true and this might be a reason for one to start Yoga. Inadequate sex may be the cause of frustration and misery.

 It is also possible that one has some physical disease or problem that one assumes can ultimately be treated only through Yoga. It does not  matter  whether pain is mental or physical, the Science of Yoga will aide whatever the situation.

If one practices Yoga for peace of mind, high concentration and increased will power the same will be achieved through the   plentiful properties.

It may be possible that one’s faith in religion is devoid of spirituality. Yoga will give one a more profound faith in religion and an achievement of spirituality will be experienced through this wonderful Science.

As a matter of fact regardless of your belief and assumptions, Yoga will definitely assist in achieving one’s goal, whatever it might be in life. The consistent practice of Yoga will bring a personality change and the outlook towards life will be more positive and constructive.

  The ultimate import of Yoga is expansion of your consciousness and make you aware of myriads of things all around to which you were unaware so for. Therefore, we should keep our minds open to every new possibility and Yoga has always guided us for the same.

The relevance of Yoga for children:

 

Yoga is the science of positive and purposeful living. Nobody knows its origin but Yoga has influenced human life down the ages. In ancient India Yoga education was given in the Gurukul in order to make children more creative, energetic and healthy. It is a system which teaches how to awaken ones hidden powers and creativeness and materialize them into action.

 Though Yoga can be learned at any stage of life but if it is taught when a person is growing from childhood to adult life it can bring tremendous results. Without this Yoga-education all the education that a child receives in the school is incomplete and that will cause an imbalance in child’s personality.

 That imbalance is in terms of mental and spiritual growth, between thought and action, between his energies and its control for proper utilization. Incorporation of Yoga education with other studies that a child learns will make children more intuitive, intelligent, creative, responsible, and more focused towards his goal.

 Everything that we teach in our school makes children more extroverts and externalized. They gradually forget about their inner world and they get remain reduced just a money-making machine.

 Yoga teaching should begin at the age eight. Modern scientists have recognized that crucial physiological and psychological changes occur in every individual at this age. A person transits from childhood into adult life. This is a significant turning point in child’s life. Before this age fantasy and play constitute his world.

 After this age concentration and discipline must gradually be taught to them. Children who undergo Yoga at this age expand and develop their natural attributes, talents and capacities to the fullest extent leading them successful, useful, liberating lives.

 When a child turns eight years his Pineal Gland begins to decay. It slowly gets degenerated. This Gland controls whole endocrine system including Pituitary Gland. This minute structure in the middle of the human brain is responsible for maintaining enhanced level of awareness.

 After this age reproductive hormones from Pituitary gland are released and the onset of puberty takes place as the decay of Pineal Gland goes on. Children who start Yoga practices at this age can delay this physiological change in their body and maintain a child like state for several more years.

 They can delay pubescence. Children whom puberty and menarche can be delayed for few more years have been found much intelligent, sensitive and intuitive than early matures, who are forcefully compelled to face emotional turmoil and conflicts of adult life before they are capable to understand and manage the internal physiological and psychological changes within the body.

The alveoli in the children lungs continue to grow until age eight. The minute alveoli can only increase in size after this age. Therefore this is the correct age to introduce breathing exercises in the daily life; so that cardiovascular and respiratory system can be properly trained to ensure high levels of resistance, vitality and endurance through out the various stages of life.

 Yoga practices not only keep children’s body strong and supple but incorporate mental activities and a discipline which helps them develop attention and concentration. Imagination power in children under six is normally limited to toys and tales. But in Yoga we give them more real things to imagine and contemplate upon to bring their imaginary mind in a more accurate connection with environment. That helps them to be adept in dealing with real world.

 Children as their nature are more intuitive, their mind is not yet conditioned and therefore they are pretty open and receptive to new things. This is because their pineal Gland has not yet commenced to calcify or degenerate.

 Yoga Practices promise a delay of this degeneration process of the most important gland in the human brain. As children continue to grow older and enter school their learning capabilities at school can be augmented by Yoga and Breathing exercises.

 Regular and disciplined undertaking of Yoga and breathing practices assists growing children channel and direct their emotional energies in a more constructive order.

 In conclusion; yoga is a kind of holistic education system which could be applied with every child because it develops physical stamina, emotional stability, intellectual and productive talents. It is a unified way of life for establishing the balanced and comprehensive personality of the child.

The most important and effective treatment of a disease is unconditional trust in God Almighty.
God should be regarded as “The creator of all” in every person, regardless of their cast and creed. When one starts experiencing oneness and unity in every human being one will achieve knowledge on Divine love.
Honesty to oneself is important as the world is not honest and sincere. Hypocrisy has always been appreciated   by worldly people. Honesty towards oneself leads to inner peace
The Almighty says ‘Those who always want me. Worship me with devotion, and I will bestow on them “Budhi Yoga”, the power of discrimination, through which they will attain me.
The will-power should be strengthened in order to overcome and control difficult situations.

When God instructed: “You will not keep any other Deity except me. You will not create an Idol”, He meant that we should give more significance to God than things which he has created. Priority in our hearts should be reserved for God instead of that place being given to our family, friends, wealth and obligatory duties.


Happiness is the only product in the world that is multiplied once divided.
All deep relationships, especially marriage must be based on absolute honesty and trust.
Marry by all means. If you get a good wife you will be very happy: if you get a bad one, you will become a philosopher – and that is good for any man.
Do not marry someone you can not live with.  But someone you can not live without.
The foolish person seeks happiness in the distance:  a wise person grows it under his feet.
Freedom does not mean doing anything which comes to mind. One should understand to which extent one is free or is a slave to ones habits.  Being greedy is not a sin, objection and victory over that greed is majestic. This is called freedom, because one,  is working with free will and decision.
When one is told that he is good then one should not relax; In fact one should work harder to become better. Continuous progress makes, God, oneself and people around us Happy.
Love is the basic need of human nature, without it life is disrupted emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically.
Remember,   Happiness   doesn’t depend on who you are or what you have; it depends solely upon what you think. So,   think ‘positive’.
If the blind leads the blind then both of them will fall in a ditch, therefore seek the company of learned people.
Life and death are like two shores.  The possibility is there for the river to flow, but it is only a possibility. You will have to realize it. Unless love is realized, you have missed - you have missed the whole point of being.
Light means clarity. Meditation is the technique to create inner light. Meditation does only one single simple thing, which is, tuning your mind ‘off’. Once, the mind is turned off, an immense light appears. That is the dawn: the dawn beyond darkness.
The most wasted days are those without laughter.
  Being governed by a mere mood is like living apart from MAYA. Resolve to keep uninterrupted peace.
Disease, failure and misery are results of cosmic law violations. The wisdom is to escape from these violations and achieve inner calmness. This can be achieved through thoughts and deeds, which are similar to your soul.
When work is done for the sake of God and not for oneself then it is considered as ‘supreme  meditation’.  A balance between  meditation and Physical activity is important. Either of the two when done on it’s own will result in an imbalance such as  meditation alone will result in laziness lazy and only physical  activities will make one worldly; Resulting in forgetting God.
Man who forgets God, is forgotten by all.
Contentment is achieved through regular practice of Yoga.   When there is contentment, misery does not exist.
A little practice of Meditation prevents the greatest fears such as, Disease and Death.
If you see someone without a smile give him one of yours.
Smile is contagious let us start a pandemic.
Good words are worth a million which costs nothing.
Love cures people both the ones who give it and the ones who receive it.
Without a Guru nobody would find God. Gods attainment requires 25% practice of meditation techniques, 25% Gurus blessing and 50% Gods mercy. If one firmly pursues this till the end, then God will definitely appear in front of you.
The word ‘recreation’ is excellent – it creates you. And unless it does so it is not a recreation. All entertainments are not recreation. Only that in which you are creatively involved is recreation.
Whether in this life you are smiling with power and prosperity or living an arduous life, your conscience should remain unchanged. If you could acquire a SAMBHAVA ‘a balance’ then nothing can make you miserable. Everything accomplished in one’s life shows that they have achieved a state of permanent joy.
