the time of practice. Sit alone. Don’t mix with undesirable persons.
Observe Mauna (seclusion) for three hours. Take milk and fruit at night.
You will have deep concentration of mind, I assure you.

Answer: yes, do
the mansika ( memtal) Japa.

slight headache. Is there any remedy?
Answere: Do not
struggle with the mind. Do not make a violent effort when you
concentrate. Relax all nerves, muscles and brain. Do gentle
concentration in a natural manner. This will remove undue strain and
consequent headache.

many types of Yoga?

Answer:
Briefly speaking, there are three types of Yoga. The first is the
KARMA YOGA, the second is the BHAKTI YOGA, the third is GYAN YOGA.
Obviously, KARMA YOGA deals with discipline, and concerns with human
activity involving the control of self. BHAKTI YOGA has something to
do with Bhakti or love and devotion to God and GYAN YOGA as the
very word suggests, has something to do with knowledge and its
attainment.

Answer: The
caloric requirement in Yogic Asanas varies from 0.8 to 3 calories per
minut. While caloric requirement of a physical exercise varies from 3 to
20 calories per minute.

Points to remember before starting Yoga

Point of
time:
If Yoga practice has to bring about
harmony between the
body, mind and soul, it follows that
you should feel easy. Therefore the right time to practice Yoga is in
the morning time after you have cleared your bowels and emptied your
bladder. Though any time It can be practiced four hours after meal. As
long as you practice them with complete ease, it does not matter it is
morning or evening.

Point of
place:
Yoga means concentration. The need for
not being not disturbed, is all the grater. Hence, Yoga has to be
practiced in a quite room.
If you are lucky enough to find a
private place free for you. It would be advisable to stick to it because
when Yoga is practiced at the same time and at the same place, your body
and mind get conditioned to it.

Point of
clothing:
It is commonsense that man can not work
freely and comfortably if he is over clothed or uncomfortably clothed.
Yoga too has to be practiced in clothes that are comfortable and
stretchable. Free, loose and decent clothes are just what you need. In
fact, clothes depend upon the season and one can wear as the temperature
permits.

creative or interesting after one’s bath, so it is with Yoga. But
there are some who would like to after Yoga and Meditation. It depends.

points to be careful about:
Women should avoid Yoga during first
few days of menstruation.
By the same token some Yoga practices
must be avoided during pregnancy. However, during the first few months
some techniques ought to be practiced under the guidance of a Yoga
expert.
You must feel refreshed after Yoga
practices and not tired or exhausted. If you do feel tired then you are
mixing it up normal exercises and not following the norms of breathing
properly.
It is good thing to help your body and
